Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) or Ninja Turtles are a quadruplet team of humanoid, talking teenage turtle siblings who have defining characteristics and ninja training that makes them skillful crime fighters. They are treated as vigilantes who are only to be seen by the criminals they attack. They originate from the franchise (comics, television series, films and videogames) with the same name.
Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird cocreated them in November 1983.
